Established by Karen Apple, 1st Things 1st provides children's ministry encouragement and training for national and international church kids' ministries, publishers, conferences and individual ministry leaders.
Karen's educational background includes a BA in biblical education from Columbia International University and graduate studies at the University of South Carolina in birth through 3rd grade education. She's a nationally recognized conference speaker, consultant and writer. Her years of experience as a licensed children's minister, architect of the church's weekday preschool program, mentor to children of divorce and separation and "my Mrs. Apple" to hundres of kids make her uniquely qualified to evaluate children's ministries and coach children's pastors.
